Ciao!

I am Dylan, your VP Marketing for the 2017/2018 academic year. I am thrilled to meet you all as we strive towards success in our vibrant faculty. What has particularly captivated me about my experiences as a business student is the sheer number of possibilities available.

Possibilities that – I wholeheartedly admit – I am still learning of. I understand how daunting everything can be, thus I want you to know and understand the resources available so you can reach your capabilities and success, however you choose to go about it.

This is where the Marketing Portfolio comes in. With our efforts, we aim to creatively captivate and inform you of what is going on. My Directors and I develop and implement campaigns for BSA events, services, and opportunities throughout the year. We also take care of the BSA website, BSA social media platforms, a monthly student newsletter, the student agenda, and merchandise. That said, the conversation we aim to spark is never one-way, we are open and happy to hear your feedback and inputs!

Beyond my work with the BSA and my time in the classroom, you will likely find me near a coffee vendor reading news on the automotive industry, Photoshopping for fun with Junkie XL playing on repeat, or out for dinner with my mum and dad. In between all of this, you will definitely see me around the Business building. I am always up for chatting and listening to your ideas, inputs, and perspectives; and lending a hand where I can. Otherwise, feel free to reach out to me online. Best wishes to you this year, I look forward to meeting and connecting with you!

Creative Director

Hi there! I am excited to be designing promotional content for BSA events and services this coming year. When I am not looking at memes, I can easily be spotted in the Garneau neighbourhood making some coffee!

Vivian Lam

Creative Director

Vivian is my name and creativity is my game! With my fellow Creative Directors, we will be designing the posters and digital materials for the BSA! I am (sadly) lactose intolerant, but that does not stop me from being a die-hard ice cream and pizza lover. I am into indie/electronic chill music – I wrote this bio while listening to Memories by Billboard (check it out)! If you bring me to an arcade, you will find me shootin’ hoops at the basketball game all night. If you run into me on campus, I can guarantee you I will be wearing grey. It’s the most underrated colour!

Creative Director

As a part-time Business student and full-time ice cream connoisseur, I am responsible for creating posters, designs, and other nice looking things for the BSA! If you ever need a logo, banner, or Instagram filter, do not be afraid to holla at your girl and (photo)sh-top by.

Digital Director

Before you judge, I would like to point out we were told casual-casual for the pictures and I was fully committed to it. Anyway, I am at the helm of all things internet related for the BSA – this website, social media accounts, etc. I am an MIS major, Comp Sci minor and pro gamer – but I am not just a computer nerd I swear! Avid (but not particularly good) rock climber, big Shakespeare enthusiast, amateur photographer, die hard hockey fan and more. Expect to see me on campus a lot this year; Business Lounge, Dewey’s and the climbing wall are essentially my home. Long live her majesty.

Visual Media Director

Hello, my name is Dylan! I will be at every BSA event and take pictures and videos to showcase our memories and activities to the world. You may have (correctly) guessed one of my hobbies is photography as I have been taking pictures for six years, and I have to give credit to my trusty camera. With my photography skills, I am also a photographer for Lazy Faire – the student-run business magazine. I too spend time volunteering and helping with Circle K International. Also, because exercise helps with discipline and resilience, I enjoy working out at Van Vliet weekly. With my workload, I take into account the scarce resource of time I have and debit it wisely.
